Safety Guidelines & Procedures

On Time

Please be on time for class as we begin promptly.  Each class begins with a complete warm up to ensure the entire body is ready for activity and to help prevent injury.

Pick up and Drop off

You do not have to stay with your gymnast if they are in the Gym, but please make sure we have your current emergency contact information on file.  If you choose not to stay for the class, please walk your gymnast into the building and then walk in to pick them up.  Your child will not be allowed to wait for you outside the building.  For gymnasts younger than 5, we ask that you stay for the class in case your gymnast needs to use the restroom or if they require your assistance.

Class Observation

Parents are welcome to observe from the lobby.  No one but our staff and enrolled gymnasts are allowed onto the Gym floor at any time.  If you need your gymnast, please see the front office for assistance.

Class Distractions

Concentration and class control are important for safety and skill development. We ask that family and friends do not distract the gymnasts while in class.  Keep distractions to a minimum.

Supervision

If you have other children with you, please supervise them at all times.  Please help us keep Easley Gymnastics a safe place by not allowing children to stand, climb, or jump onto furniture.  No running or horseplay is allowed in the halls or lobby.

Water

Hydration is essential to any athletic activity!  Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle to keep in their cubbies for water break.

Report all Injuries

Please immediately report any injuries to a coach or staff member.

Lost Items

Please do not leave any valuables unattended or in your vehicle. Easley Gymnastics is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Behavior Problems

May result in dismissal from class.

Respect and Consideration

For each other, coaches, staff, and the facility is expected at all times from everyone!
